Overview:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Administrative Assistant to support our Quality Improvement (QI) team. This role involves a mix of data entry, report preparation, and collaboration with team members to ensure accuracy and compliance in patient reporting and chart reviews. The ideal candidate is bilingual (French and English), organized, and thrives in a collaborative healthcare environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Report Preparation & Data Entry:
    Assist in compiling monthly reports by collecting and reviewing patient call volumes and other relevant data.

  • Data Accuracy & Quality Control:
    Ensure reports are complete, properly formatted, and any missing data (e.g., blood glucose levels, blood pressure) is identified and addressed. Work with staff to fill in gaps or flag issues for follow-up.

  • Audit Support:
    Aid in patient chart reviews and documentation as directed by the QI Manager.

  • Collaboration with QI Team:
    Work closely with the QI Manager and existing coordinator to implement updates and address key focus areas.

  • Compliance & Process Improvement:
    Contribute to maintaining data integrity and supporting quality control processes.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Proficiency in Excel and data entry

  • Strong understanding of reporting standards and quality control principles

  • Fluent in French and English (spoken and written)

  • Exceptional attention to detail and ability to follow instructions

  • Team-oriented mindset with a proactive approach to problem-solving

Preferred Experience:

  • Previous experience in a medical or clinical setting (e.g., appointment coordination, patient support) is an asset but not required
